Young Professionals are Coming Together to Fight Hunger during National Volunteer Month

Now is the time to help our neighbors hit hardest by the recession. For national volunteer month, we’re hoping to gather 60 volunteers to help prepare meals with Food Lifeline’s Hunger Solution Center!

Food Lifeline provides nutritious food to 1.37 million people facing hunger and more than 282,000 meals every single day. Let’s make the biggest impact for hunger relief during April, National Volunteer Month. Because we need so many volunteers: sign up with your friends and receive coffee vouchers for your hard work.

Volunteers will sort and repack nutritious food to feed our neighbors who may be experiencing food insecurity.

Meet Your Volunteer Lead

“Hi Everyone, My name is Cristina Luevano-Santos but people call me Cris. I’m excited to help our neighbors with you during the afternoon project at Food Lifeline!”  Fun fact about me is that the first gingerbread house I ever made from scratch was a scale replica of my own house that included gummy bear windows and a chocolate mailbox! I like art.”
